MCOSA is established in the year 1925 and registered in the year 1971 as per the Travancore - Cochin literary and charitable societies registration Act XII of 1955.
In connection with the celebration of the Golden Jubilee year of the Maharaja's College, a meeting of the Old Boys of the college was held on 13-01-1925 in which an association of old students has been formed....

The Executive Committee for the year 2012-13 observed that various provisions of the Travancore Cochin Literary and Charitable Societies Act has not been complied with such as filing of annual reports, statement of accounts etc...,
MCOSA is planning to conduct the 3rd “ Maharajakeeya Sangamam ” in early 2017
which will definitely enable a grand return of old students to the college campus and relive their glorious college days. Old students, the famous and the not so famous, in and outside the country are expected to come forward and take a walk through the hallowed precincts’ of their alma mater, which had shaped their lives
and taken them to the highest echelons of power and position.
