MAHARAJAS COLLEGE OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (MCOSA)

The Executive Committee for the year 2012-13 observed that various provisions of the Travancore Cochin Literary and Charitable Societies Act has not been complied with such as filing of annual reports, statement of accounts etc., since the Association had registered in 1971. Mr. Reyas K.M, the then General Secretary took all pains to sort out the issues and finally the herculean task was resolved with the registering authorities satisfactorily.

Reyas K.M , General Secretary, MCOSA 2013-15

The man behind the regularisation of MCOSA registration after 42 years.

MCOSA took another task of giving training to the existing students of the college to attend various competitive examinations and interviews. The program is titled as "Job Winner Career Guidance" and the same is absolutely free. This is initiated and fulfilled by Adv. T.J. Ignatius and Mr.A.K.Rajan.

It was decided to convene the get together of old students titled "Maharajakeeyam" in every 4 years and accordingly the first get together was held in 2008 and the second in 2012. The 3rd sangamam is planned in early 2017.

Urgent steps have been initiated to enroll more and more old students as life members of the Association by payment of a nominal fee of Rs.200/-.

Old students who are in different walks of life are therefore requested to take initiative to visit their old campus, whenever possible, and renew the umbilical bondage. Further, they may also create opportunities to share how they developed themselves under the shade of this great institution and blossomed themselves from the foundation received from the college. Above all, they could surely contribute to the growth of the institution and render their support and guidance.
